The FMVS website is designed to:
Inform the public about our mission, programs, and outreach

• Provide resources for veterans and their families
• Allow users to make donations and volunteer

All content—including text, photos, graphics, downloadable PDFs, and logos—is the property of Fire Missions Veteran Services
and may not be used or reproduced without written permission.

2. Donations & Financial Transactions

We provide online giving via trusted third-party processors (e.g., Zeffy). By making a donation:

• You confirm you are authorized to use the payment method provided
• You understand all donations are non-refundable unless made in error and reported within 7 days
• You will receive a donation receipt for tax purposes in compliance with our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status

We do not store your credit card or banking information. All donations are processed securely and externally.

3. Volunteer & Event Participation

FMVS offers volunteer opportunities to veterans and civilians. By submitting a volunteer application or event inquiry:

• You consent to background checks if required by your volunteer role
• You agree to conduct yourself respectfully and follow any safety guidelines during your participation
• FMVS reserves the right to approve, deny, or terminate volunteer involvement for safety or mission-related reasons

4. Submission of Forms & Personal Information

By submitting contact forms, applications, or documents (e.g., DD-214s), you agree:

• The information you provide is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge
• We may store your information for the purpose of program eligibility, outreach, or donor services
• Your information will not be sold and will be used only in accordance with our Privacy Policy

5. Links to Third Parties

Our site may contain links to external websites for veteran services, donations, or information. These sites are not controlled by FMVS, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy.

6. Use of Content & Media

Any media content (photos, videos, testimonials) submitted to or captured by FMVS may be used for promotional or educational purposes unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.
